Brief Summary:
This course covers the requirements for the standard Provide 1st Aid and optionally provision for the additional requirements for child care settings
Additional Information

The Provide 1st Aid  course covers the skills and knowledge required to provide a first aid response to a casualty in line with first aid guidelines determined by the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) and other Australian national peak clinical bodies.

The unit applies to all persons who may be required to provide a first aid response in a range of situations, including community and workplace settings.

The HLTAID012 component covers the requirements provide a first aid response to infants and children in line with first aid guidelines and required in education and childcare settings

There is no minimum age to attend the training hwoever due to restrictions of the RTO through which the qualification is being issued, generally minimum age to receive the qualification certificate is 14. If close to 14 and wanting the qualification issued  , please contact the organiser.
