DESCRIPTION:The 1st Carlingford Scout Section organised this Six Foot Track Hike (3 Days\, 2 Nights) to support a scout completing his Adventurous Journey for the Australian Scout Award. Please note the activity is planned and led by a youth working for the Peak Award. The Six Foot Track was originally a bridle trail from Katoomba to the Jenolan Caves and is now a walking trail of 44.3 kilometres. Participants travel from Katoomba to Jenolan Caves during the Easter long weekends. Scouts and Ventures are welcome\; however\, previous lightweight camping\, bushwalking experience\, and good fitness are required. Bushwalking OAS Stage 3 and above is recommended.
