New Leader Welcome Session (May)

Are you a new leader in the South Met Region?
Do you need assistance understanding your training pathway or where to go for support and advice?

We Invite YOU to one of our upcoming New Leader Welcome Sessions!!

When:

• Tuesday 2 April: 7:30 pm – 8:30 pm
• Thursday 9 May: 7:30 pm – 8:30 pm
• Tuesday 4 June: 7:30 pm – 8:30 pm

Where: South Metropolitan Region Office – 1 Carrington Avenue, Hurstville,

Audience: New Adult Leaders (Started as an adult leader in the last 12-18 months)

What is it?

These sessions are designed to welcome our new leaders who have recently joined us in the South Met Region and connect you with fellow leaders in South Met Region.  

We will be focusing on:

• How and where do I go to get support as a leader in South Met?
• What opportunities are there as a leader, including Adventurous Activities & Gangshow?
• What are my Training Pathways?
• Meet new leaders and some of the South Met Region Team.
• Answer any questions you have.

If you haven't already, you will complete your Individual Adult Volunteer Plan (IAVP)—Phase 1 as part of the night.

You can stick around after 8:30 p.m., and the team can help you with any additional questions or assist you with access to Scouting systems (where possible).
