Additional Information

Heathcote Station and return via The Pipeline Trail, Battery Causeway and possibly extending to Boobera Pool, Sarahs Knob and Woronora Dam Road. Alternate park entry/exit via Mirang Road. This 20 km route is likely to include fire trail, walking track and some off track. Average grade is medium inclusive of some steep ascent/decent sections. This is suitable for entry level and beginners who exercise and or play sport regularly.

Campsite may be an informal clearing. A freestanding tent or lightweight fly is advised. Ground may be firm and space limited. Views in the morning should be rewarding. No formal toilet facilities, prepare for bush toileting and hygiene. We recommend opal card if you are traveling by train.

This activity is targeted towards Scouts and Venturers however Rovers and Leaders are welcome to join us. Youth members can participate without their section leaders as activity leaders will be providing direct and or remote supervision for the duration. Participants coming by train are encouraged to travel in small groups and travel in the guard's carriage marked with a blue light. Scout uniform is not required however please wear your scarf.
