5 Day Sailing Workshop

This is a five day sailing Workshop held at Lake Chipping Norton in Liverpool Each day commences at 9.00am and finishes at 3.00pm. Eligible for Scouts, Venturers, Rovers & Leaders

Please wear uniform each day, and bring change of clothes for wearing on the water, including enclosed footwear. (Crocs are not suitable) Swiming costumes are good, and Wetsuits if you have one. Don't forget a hat and sunscreen.

Please bring lunch and other food each day. There are no local shops.

There is some theory to cover so please bring a pen. We will provide the workbooks. All equipment including sailing craft, life jackets etc will be provided.

Course includes capsizing, rowing,some basic navigation, tides, weather, water safety and of course sailing skills.

Outcomes will include a record of attendance. Please bring an Activities Logbook (if you have one) to be signed.

The Workshop is run under YACHTING Aust rules for Beginner Sailors under the instruction of Keith Travers & John Vanden Burg
