Venturer Scout Leadership Course - COVID-19 Edition

Welcome to the COVID-19 edition of our leadership course. To maximise social distancing, we are planning a mix of pre-course questions and videos, a mix of interactive sessions, a team project and formal dinner on a single day in late August.

The purpose of the Venturer Leadership course is to equip a Venturer with Leadership Skills for Life; in areas of scouting, school, work, social and personal situations.

Subjects include what is leadership, planning, organisation, time management, delegation, goal setting, decision making, problem solving, communicating, motivating, knowing yourself.

We are closing the course four weeks ahead of the course to allow us time to get all the material organised and out to you, and allow enough time for you to do the pre-course work. We also will want you to organise an activity in your Unit before the course.

The Saturday session saysfrom 8 am to 9 pm, but there will actually be three sessions with gaps between. You won't be on the screen for 13 hours!
