Brief Summary:
Do you love fishing or want to learn a more about it? Are you looking for a Special Interest Area project? This could be the activity for you. The NSW Fisheries - Department of Primary Industries are coming along to share their knowledge of all things fishing! Learn to tie on a hook, catch your own beach worms and so much more.

PARENTS THAT ARE STAYING : You will need to register.

Bait will be supplied

If you are a Joey you will need your own tent and parents will need a seperate tent due to Scouting Policies 

Bring:

  • Fishing rod or reel if you have one - there will be a few extras available

  • This camp is self catered. You will need to bring your camping gear, and food for the weekend

  • This campsite is off grid so there is no power. Toilets are a short walk from the campsite. There are no showers, though a quick dip in Lake Macquarie will have you sorted.

  • There is an opportunity for youth to learn how to make your own sinkers and floats.
