Day canoe hike yarramundi bridge to macquarie park, windsor

Supervised day canoe hike suitable for scout age and up. 

this is a one way day trip from yarramundi bridge to macquarie park windsor. 

participants must be able to swim 50m and have had some canoe experience. 

this activitiy is suitable for those seeking further canoe experience. please contact the activity provider if you are unsure and would like further advice. 

great opportunity to get out for a simple day paddle.

participants must bring:

- water shoes / wet shoes

- own food / water

- sunscreen / hat

- change of clothes 

equipment is provided where requested. (canoe / paddle / life jacket)

$25 - equipment provided

$10 - equipment not provided (you provide your own equipment)

as with all canoe activities, there is risk of capsize and getting wet. 

As per all scouting events, we have a COVID safe plan with physical distancing in place. cancellation may occur in line with NSW Health and NSW government COVID-19 requirements. if cancellation is to occur the decision will be made 1 week prior. 

Cancellation due to adverse weather can occur. this decision is made 3 days prior to the event. weather conditions affecting cancellation include: Flooding, heavy rain, thunderstorms, high wind, extreme temperature > 40 degrees. in the event of high temperatures the activity may go ahead but with altered timeframes.
