Brief Summary:
Snow Play weekend
Additional Information

Fun snow play weekend for Joeys and Cubs.

The weekend is aimed at giving Joeys and Cubs a fun experience in the snow.

Building Snow men. Igloos, perhaps a snow shelter. Have a try at tobbogoning (this is subject to National Parks rules), The actual snow play area will be decided on the day in line with the days snow conditions. This is not intended to be a ski resort based  event. If we find good snow away from the resort then that is where we will play. We do not intend to go downhill skiing but if anyone wamts to try cross country skiing and you have your own skis then please bring them along.

Joeys must be accompanied by a parent or carer. Accompanying adults must have a current Working With Children Check Number.   We will need parents and Leaders to help with food preperation and cooking.

Region will supply a few tobbogans and snow shovels for play. We will have region activity Leaders on hand to help out but this event will need Cub and Joey Leaders to help with managment of youth members.
