Perrys Lookdown/Blue Gum Bushwalk

If you are driving or being dropped off you can meet at either Blackheath Station, Hat Hill Carpark or Perrys Lookdown carpark.

Blackheath Station to Perrys Lookdown via Hat Hill Road entry level, undulations sealed and unsealed road

7.8 km one way from Blackheath Station to Perrys Lookdown (15.6 return)

Perrys Lookdown to Blue Gum via hard grade, steep and rocky Grade 4 

2 km one way from Perrys Lookdown to Blue Gum. (4 km return)

Approx timing

Blackheath Station 8 am, Hat Hill Carpark Approx 10:30, Perrys Lookdown carpark Approx 11 am.

Perrys Lookdown Carpark approx 4 pm, Hat Hill Carpark 4:30 pm and Blackheath Station 6 pm

All participants require a Scouts NSW membership number.

Wear comfortable clothing, worn in walking shoes with grip, sun protection (hat and sunscreen)

Bring a day pack with food, water, waterproof layer, personal first aid

Drop pit toilet may be available at Perrys and Acacia Flat, prepare for bush toileting just in case
